Current Volunteer Needs
2025 Kinky Holiday Market! Saturday, December 13, at SOMArts Cultural Center, 934 Brannan Street
We need Greeters to welcome our guests and direct them to our vendors, Gear Helpers for Gear Swap n Shop, and Outreach Vols to help folks learn more about the District.
The shift times are short to let you enjoy the Market before or after your shift.

Volunteer signup for Kinky Holiday Market 2025!

Ongoing Volunteer Roles:

- Gear Swap Lead
  - Set up gear swap table on event days
  - Coordinate pickup and drop off of gear swap items on event days
  - Track transactions
  - Solicit donations and manage inventory
  - Provide staff with information regarding physical donations
- Grant Writer
  - Research grants that the Cultural District may qualify for
  - Write grant proposals
  - Work with staff on grant submissions
- Walking Tour Coordinator
  - Set schedule with tour guides
  - Support tour guides
  - Coordinate training of new tour guides
- Maintenance Team
  - Monitor our placemaking elements for vandalism or damage
    - Leather Pride Flags and banners on light poles & sidewalk plaques
  - Report damage, and graffiti on our placemaking elements to the District
